About The Artwork
Chimaera was drawn after musical pieces, compositions called "Le Sabot de Venus" and "Le coquelicot Rouge" by the pianist Sylvie Courvoisier for her project Chimaera. Two poetic and surrealistic titles that inspired a dreamy planet listening to music with closed eyes. The graceful face represents the interiority, a state brought through listening. The layered thin lines bring a soft darkness accentuating this sensation. Touched, the mind plunges into the depth of lightness.
