I saw this plant in an abandoned place, this dogwood grew near an abandoned house in a village somewhere in Ukraine, we were just passing by. And I saw these berries, which had not yet been formed. The dogwood has already finished blooming, but the berries have not yet formed. And these different leaves - some dry old, some new young branches, some juicy green - all this together, and these three protruding berries created such an amazing rhythm, very elegant. And I wanted to convey this junction of times - old leaves, which have already decomposed into skeletons, dried by winds, withered, and young green leaves. And this is all against the background of not fully formed berries. Etching printed from copper plate size 76/51 sm (29,9/20'') Intaglio printing. Limited edition of 5. Imprint 1 from 5. Signed and numbered by the artists. Created in 2008. NOTE: Etching paper can wavy from changes in humidity and temperature, but don't worry - when you place the etching in the frame under the glass, it will flatten out. Or you can bring the etching in the framing workshop for alignment, while some paper will be cut off from the edges.
