About The Artwork

Studying the dynamic lines of great works of the past is very stimulating, I can focus on very intense points by observing them from a different point of view, while respecting their original essence. This detail taken from Creation, one of Michelangelo's most famous and well-known frescoes, summarizes a great intensity but at the same time a great poetry and humanity, God touching his creature with a finger giving it life. It is a powerful and iconic image, very interesting to study not only for the lines that arise from this design but to understand how to modulate the light so that it can support and enhance this simple gesture full of intensity. The work is original and signed, handcrafted with graphite on 120g / m2 Fabriano paper, wrapped in a transparent envelope and shipped flat, between two layers of shockproof cardboard. The signed certificate of authenticity is attached. I am available to carry out studies and portraits on commission, contact me for more information

Born in Buenos Aires in 1982 and grow up in Milan, Martin Cambriglia lives and works since 1989 in Milan, Italy. Painter and musician, his pictorial research is rooted in Italian futurism and in dreamlike surrealism with particular attention to a continuous dialogue between visual and musical language. The fluidity of the sign and its rhythm, the broken and re-harmonized equilibria are based on different techniques, they all flow together to create a lyrical but profoundly powerful image.
