Foggy dream Drawing

I deny only one reality. We're looking for a touch of the real outside us and our everyday world, a world of dreams is sometimes the most real because is the world of pure emotion. The core of my interests became look inward because in dreams we are approaching to something universal, true, growing, something that a mankind inexorably strives. The figure is immersed in a kind of fog, which symbolizes the broken link with the real world. I did not want to deal with things or phenomena that portrayed person sees in dream. Also I did not wanted to show a dream as biological need. Therefore I increase portrait and put the emphasis on the inly view. The eyelids are in the foreground, they communicate with the viewer, at the same time creating a certain distance, but only as a distance from the real world. Face expressions are saying that the inner world is very real for sleeper, she lives her dream. Drawing gesture in this case is a literal representation of the record of bioelectrical activity of the brain during sleep.
