Andrey Yudin The artist from the town of Tver, was born in 1974. He has been a member of Designers Union of Russia since 2000 and a member of Russia’s Artist Union since 2001. He had an internship in Austria in 2002. 2017 elected a member of Petrovskaya Academy of Sciences and arts. He is a very active participant and organizer of various exhibitions in Russia and abroad. In 2008 he established his art studio. Andrey Yudin enthusiastically participates in exhibitional, artistic, educational, and social activities. Since 2009 he has collaborated with Tver theaters as well as Tver Academic Drama Theater. Andrey Yudin works in various styles with different mediums but pastels remain his favorite. There is something intangible in his art, similarly to what you may find in the works of Lithuanian artist Ciurlionis (although their styles defer dramatically), a subtle world of dreams and music as well as in works of a renown hedonist Renoir with his love of sun and light. Those artists are favorites of Andrey’s. With Ciurlionis he was inspired during a visit to Kaunas seeing “Ciurlionis Museum of pastel” and latter Renoir’s influence from the Museum of Impressionism “d’Orsay” in Paris. The art of Andrey Yudin has something what is very valued by his teacher – a renown Tver’s artist Vsevolod Sergeevich Solodov – a sincerity of emotions. Thanks to Solodov’s influence, Andrey found his unique style quite quickly and without prolonged exploration.
