About The Artwork

As an artist and as an active mental health advocate, this is what I want to illustrate in this collection. Once Upon A Time, I had a dream - but I did not want to be perfect - I just want to be me. The same happen to each one of us - there was a moment in our lives when we wanted to be ourselves, so what happened? Sometimes in the midst of looking for perfection, we get lost, and we give up on our dreams. In this collection, this is exactly what I want to illustrate - because we do not have to "be perfect" to be perfect - we just have to be our best - and that is what matters.  A3 is the pinkish/purple piece - the colors that I selected to create this collection were carefully chosen as I wanted to utilize the trending colors for this 2023 Spring. Frame Is Not Included.

Paricia Houston -The Never-Stop Artist... Patricia Houston is an Abstract & Semi Impressionist Artist & Active Mental Health Advocate. Patricia was born in a small village in the DR., and from a young age, Patricia has experimented with different techniques, mediums, and subjects. Largely self-taught, she developed her own artistic flair before ever attending a formal class. Patricia believes that art is an individualistic skill. She continues to combine her intuition and external inspiration to embody a “never-stop-learning” attitude while preserving her unique style. Inspired by a passion for mental health advocacy, her work focuses on creating positive mindset paintings by illustrating colorful, joyful, and mindful pieces. After almost twenty years in the United States, she spends her time expanding her knowledge base and catalog in New Jersey. In addition to her art, she maintains a commitment to herself, her loved ones, and society as a whole to act as a mental health advocate and a source of inspiration to remain persistent in pursuit of their dreams while enjoying the process of the journey itself.
