About The Artwork

I grew up watching old black and white movies from the 30's and 40's. Lots of iconic stars from that era. Katherine Hepburn was always fun to watch. Clever, vivacious and quick witted. Had to do some portraits of some of my favorites. Graphite seemed like the perfect medium for the black and white effect.
