My at-the-time boyfriend inspired the work. This is a backstage picture taken before the he we walked on the runway. We were on a long distance relationship (São Paulo-Milan). Any picture, any message, any sign of him would make my happiness launch to the stars. This one shoot in particular had me so happy I tried to remake it with graphite. I worked on every detail. Actually nobody ever knew this face like a did, so I couldn't do any less. This face I knew way too well, so I tried the eyes about 5 times. His eyes were a perfect match of shades of nature that glow like two perfect orbs, where I used to drown in green... Now we are apart. We went back to being stranges to each other. But still, love this work from every angle. I guess it's my best work yet.
