Luna Drawing

Luna was inspired by my time in Africa when I was lucky enough to see a Leopard come up and lick the mirror of the vehicle I was in. I think they are the most beautiful creature, and part of the majesty of Africa, along with the Acacia Tree next to her. This picture reminds me of their beauty but there is a reason she is looking at you, and that is to decide whether you are worth eating or not. I have always enjoyed sketching, but Luna is one of the first pictures I did in full colour and believe it adds so much more to the piece. Also, the reason she is called Luna comes from my wife and stepdaughter who joint named her whilst she was in production.
