About The Artwork
"Mother tree grew some lights to celebrate a birth of her child.. She knew.. Soon he'll be taken away.." The idea of this painting was to show that humans belong in the wild, nature is their home, it's a huge part of our lives or at least it should be. The cloacked creature represents big cities, technology and everything that disconnects us from the wild. I made this artwork on pretty old paper,so it has a yellow shade which gives a unique, aged look.

My name is Aušrinė which in english means "morning star". And as a star I often find myself dreaming about space and other planets, wondering how life looks on the other side of the universe. Therefore it is seen in my paintings. At first they might look quite disturbing or weird, but when you have a second glance at it you'll find the lightest ideas. I'm pretty sure you heard stories about how artwork can heal or cause serious injuries. I truly believe in that, since there's energy fields all around us. So with this idea in my mind I only let myself create when I'm in peace and harmony, because that is all you need for happiness.
