Finding yourself challenging the highway at night is a common experience that does not affect everyone. Between pauses and departures through roads inhabited only by lanterns and signs, one moves in an apparent solitude which then is nothing but a multitude of solitudes. Yet the nocturnal landscape brings with it the poetry of those who look at it, and it is the case of the eyes capable of Gaetano Vella that returns in design the rarefied atmospheres of silent journeys. It is his last production of pastels on paper, with which he condenses and blurs details of photographic shots.

Born in Agrigento, lives and works in Agrigento (Sicily) Graduated and specialized Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo in the visual arts and performing arts. At the age of fifteen years he attended the studios of painters John Provenzano and Lillo Bellomo. In 2008 he participated in an internship of contemporary sacred art.
