Some people think I'm a duck's bill. Others say an elephant. A few think I must be upside down or sideways. In reality, I'm a beautiful shell nestled in the sands of Myrtle Beach. There's one thing everyone can agree upon, I'm a great conversation piece. Buy me if you want to get your guests talking. I'm made of the finest materials. I'm drawn on 12" x 9" Strathmore Windpower 140 lb. Mixed Media Paper using charcoal and graphite. All archival, acid-free, conservation framed with museum grade glass, a white mat and a black wooden frame. Framed size is 15.3" H x 18.3" W x 1.3" D. Ready to hang. All you need to do is decide on the perfect wall for me to call my home. Have you ever thought about a shell's life? How far they've traveled and all the things they encounter along the way? If only they could talk and share their stories with us.

Lisa Blake, originally from the suburbs of Chicago, spent her childhood surrounded by arts, crafts and all the neighborhood pets she could find. A budding entrepreneur, she sold handmade Christmas ornaments, handmade greeting cards, baked goods, as well as the occasional lemonade. Lisa took classes in drawing, scratchboard, photography, interior design, floral design, pastels, painting, business, accounting and received Copic Markers Standard and Intermediate Certifications. Lisa spent 17 years working for a non-profit trade association until she fell in love with a man who lived 800 miles away. Lisa currently resides in New Jersey with her husband, his two daughters and two big black dogs. Lisa opened her art shop on October 12, 2012, and transitioned to a full-time business in August 2016. Her shop began with original art and photography, which evolved to include her designs on things like home decor items, as well as stationery, mugs and phone cases.
