On Silent Paw Drawing

The elusive snow leopard has long since been a fascination of mine. How it is equipped to survive in one of the worlds most treacherous terrains is astonishing, from its camouflage perfectly hiding it from unsuspecting prey to its huge tail that helps it balance when leaping and scrambling over sheer rocks and down steep ravines. It is a wonder to behold but sadly so rare and on the critically endangered list. I not only wanted to draw it to try to capture its power and intensity but to bring its beauty into homes and raise awareness of its plight. This drawing has been beautifully framed with a double mount board and dark brown hard wood mould with a hand painted antique gold inner rim and museum glass
