Powerful Ganga Drawing

This artwork belongs to a series entitled Asia Trip .16. In 2016, me and my boyfriend went on a sabbatical tour in South East Asia for six months. It was a new start for my artwork, as the theme started to move to mini-tales with scenes of the places we visited along the trip. Our visit to South of India was amazing. It's another world, completely different from Rajasthan by North. We went on a boathouse tour in Kerala canals, and I got inspired by the goddess Ganga (who represents Ganges in Hinduism) to design something to honor the Indian women who are really powerful and fantastic. I add this counterpart as an infinity symbol of life and death which is one of the main fundamentals in the religion. Whatever it goes, one day it comes back.
