"Pretty Girl" Drawing

Alexander Valdman has received formal training in drawing, painting, sculpture and photography, earning a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art and Photography, and a Master's degree in Book Design and Illustration. He enjoyed a successful career in graphic design and illustration, working in television and print for companies such as CBS, ESPN, and HBO. In recent years, he has returned his focus to fine art and photography. His paintings and drawings feature oil, acrylic, watercolor, and pastels as well as experiments with found objects. He specializes in styles ranging from realism to abstract with elements of cubism, surrealism, native, and others. His works showcase his bold and unusual perspective and convey his deeply contemplative and spiritual nature. As a photographer, he captures striking images that complement his artistic vision and convey his unique perspective. His paintings are part of the permanent collection of the C.A.S.E. Museum of Contemporary Russian Art and featured in private collections all over the world, as well as on television.
