Relief, No. 1 of 1 Drawing

Epidural procedure done for a close relative. A pencil drawing on vellum is created as a master. Paper is prepared with a two part wet chemical mixture in a dim room and dried for 24 hours. The master is placed on top of the prepared paper. Glass is overlaid and fixed in place. The stack is exposed in the sun, the UV rays causing a chemical reaction on the paper. The reacted paper is removed from the stack and washed in a two part process developing the exposed paper into the final blueprint. The image is fixed and stable as it dries. This is the only print. The master is now signed and dated to prevent printing anymore. Signature on back, dated April 2020. Number 1 of 1.
