Reverie Drawing

This drawing is inspired by the collective experience of travelling on an airplane in economy and the difficulty of getting sleep in cramped conditions. I was caught by this man trying to sleep with his headphones on trying to get a personal experience in the public situation of plane travel where people are constantly negotiating space issues with one another to and from the toilets. I hope viewers will recognise themselves in the image as being something we all desire when flying where our own personal space is at a premium. The medium of marker pen on paper was used because I wanted a quick impression captured on the fly before returning to my seat.
