Art Description

Drawing: Graphite on Paper.

Scaling up from smaller drawings, this one was most physical and relentless.
Its adding and removing, topping up and erasing, trying on various surfaces, removing back to bare paper.

The drawing was then placed on a board and attached wet to create a gentle wave like sculptural effect. It was varnished several times and you can see the brushstrokes on the surface completing the 3d look.

It looks really cool and you can clearly capture a gentle wave in this image created with large strockes working with wide amplitude hand movement.

It is unsigned on the front so you can hang the artwork which ever way you prefer.
