Bazen doğanın bütün zarafeti, yalnızca ışığın ve gölgenin buluştuğu yerde saklıdır… Kat kat açılan narin gül yaprakları, birbirine dokunan kıvrımlar, ışığın yumuşak geçişleri v...

Visual Artist | Painter | Designer | Art Educator
I graduated from the Textile Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul, where I developed a strong academic foundation in drawing, composition, color, and visual expression.
Throughout my professional career, I worked as a fashion designer, creative director, and art consultant for national and international fashion and apparel companies. This extensive experience in design and artistic direction has profoundly influenced my creative perspective, allowing me to combine academic artistic discipline with a contemporary design sensibility.
My artistic practice encompasses watercolor, charcoal and graphite drawing, acrylic painting, illustration, and ceramic art. Each medium offers a different way to explore the relationships between form, texture, light, atmosphere, and visual storytelling.
Ancient civilizations, architectural heritage, historic cities, weathered buildings, and the subtle traces left by time are among my most significant sources of inspiration. I am particularly drawn to architectural details, aged surfaces, ornamental elements, and the visual character of places that carry memories of the past.
Beyond architecture and history, my work also explores nature, landscapes, portraiture, the human figure, and imaginative compositions.
In my watercolor and drawing works, I often combine precise structural lines with expressive tonal values, transparent layers of color, and selectively unfinished areas. This approach allows the creative process itself to remain visible, creating a dialogue between observation, interpretation, and artistic expression.
My acrylic paintings offer further opportunities to explore color, texture, and atmosphere through different visual approaches.
Alongside my paintings and drawings, I create ceramic reliefs, decorative objects, and original handcrafted ceramic jewelry. Inspired in part by the artistic traditions and ornamental languages of ancient civilizations, these works reflect my interest in connecting cultural heritage with contemporary design.
Art education is also an important part of my professional life. As an art educator, I share my knowledge and experience in academic drawing, painting, composition, and visual design, encouraging the development of individual artistic expression.
