Always mesmerized by wildlife and anything relating to nature, Mel Sarbey was born in Manhattan and moved to Miami Beach while still an infant. "My painting is mostly an expression of my love of nature, wildlife and wide open spaces.  I work at creating a world in every painting with each piece having it's own story to tell.  Painting is a powerful way to make a statement about anything that moves you. Art painted with feeling and the love of life."  Canvasses have many layers with touches of texture for added dimension.
