This is one of my oil pastel drawings from a still life series created in a caravan. It's done on velour paper, one of my favorite surfaces for oil pastels. The unique texture of the paper adds depth and richness to the drawing, creating a visually striking effect with vibrant, velvety colors. This artwork comes framed, ready to hang.

Hello everyone and welcome! My name is Jan Vogo and I create artworks in my style, which I discovered under the impression of colourful autumn time in Swedish countryside where I live. The concept of the style includes creation of a graphic sketch as the base of the work, followed by depiction of the main theme in colour with single brush touches without strokes. I was inspired to create this style by the brightness of the autumn foliage, which I wanted to convey on the canvas, leaving the trees as secondary objects. I use pencil and charcoal to draw everything except the main theme, putting it in contrast using the rich colour of oil paints. I prefer to work with as pure colour as possible, minimising mixing of colours or not mixing at all. The white canvas enhances the main theme, makes it to stand out. My goal is to share the vision of all seasons through the prism of this styles concept, studying it by reproducing rich colour and contrasting scenes of the nature. In addition to this, I also explore other styles using oil pastel, conte crayons, pencil and oil paint, broadening the scope of my artistic expression.
