Surova folk custom in Svetlya vilidge Drawing

This is the village where I have spent most of my life. From there is my maternal root. It is called Svetlya and is in Bulgaria, Pernishki district, next to the small river Svetlya and near the Pchelina dam. It is a small village, but when Surova comes, the day of January 13-14 every year, it is reborn as the Phoenix and every house is filled with light and people. This is a traditional ritual for centuries and has been preserved to this day completely authentic. There is no person who has been present at Raw and has not taken from the power of the energy ritual. This is a ritual for driving away evil forces with scary masks, lots of bells, fire, dancing and fun. This holiday is celebrated in my family and it is part of my roots and my life.
