About The Artwork
with my forestry background I have loved nature and all it has to offer. The name of the picture "The Fires Of Fall" came to me because the only time you generally see a buck and a doe together is during mating season. The orange background represents the fire that drives the buck to find a mate and how fiercely they defend their harem. I hope that those checking out this picture will feel both the peace and energy of the moment.

I was born November 28, 1969 in the small town of Edson, Alberta, Canada. For around four years now I've been doing ball-point pen art. Before that I spent most of life doing different types of work in the vast forests of central and northern Alberta. I got into doing art after an injury to my back ended my forestry career.
I'm a fun loving person who loves detail. That's why I work with ball-point pen, it allows my to get the most detail into a picture that I can. I love the animals and tallships, but I love to try and draw new things, just for the challenge.
