About The Artwork
Inspired by my love for the ocean, this artwork shows how important the lighthouse can be in guiding the fishing vessels safely into harbor. The lighthouse is a comfort and safe sign to all ships at sea. With it's beacon shining brightly into the darkness ships can be guided safely into port in both passive and stormy weather. The warm light from the distant ship grows closer to shore with the help of the Lighthouse. I chose ink as my main tool, then digitally enhanced the artwork to add light where needed.
