My artistic practice delves into philosophical themes surrounding mortality, employing visual techniques including grotesque details, multi-figure compositions, and mythologized creatures. I center on human transformation and the external manifestation of emotions, exploring loss and distortions in facial expressions. Primarily featuring female subjects, my work addresses trauma, tragedy, disaster, horror, and despair, with select pieces tackling contemporary issues like maternal loss, war, and discrimination. I prefer vertical and square formats, primarily utilizing acrylics and dry pastels.
