Howard Doherty was born in Salford 01/11/1972 & educated in Southern Ireland. He has been based in Southampton, Hampshire since 1992. Howard was a skilled building contractor but unfortunately, suffered a life-changing head injury in 2004. Howard first put pen to paper in 2002 - however after his accident, spent a long time experimenting with different art forms, creating an extensive portfolio of work. Since 2004, Howard has created a portfolio consisting of around 100 original pieces. Specialising in stylised illustration, Howard is a self-taught artist inspired by graffiti art, tattoo art and surrealism.
