About The Artwork
My favorite part of hiking is taking in all that nature has to offer, including the smallest of details. This series of drawings was inspired by our multiple hikes this summer. The first drawing is of tree roots that have withstood the pressure of the river and have ever-evolving new life springing out. The second drawing shows the smoothed rocks on the edge of a river as the water flows between them. The third drawing shows a baby ring-necked snake quickly trying to escape our curiosity. Finally, the fourth drawing shows deer tracks on the trail.
