A cutting edge draughtswoman and highly acclaimed in her field, Elisabeth Grosse aka Lizita is an artist, fashion and graphic designer who has worked with top designers such as Alexander McQueen and Matthew Williamson. Whilst studying fashion design at the University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld in Germany, her artworks were showcased in several publications. Born in Meissen in Germany and coming from a family of artists, she loved to draw since her childhood which broadened her talent. During her fashion design studies she discovered her passion for the creation of figurative illustrations and abstract portraits. Focussed on the face, it is her fascination to capture the moment of emotiveness and to create a crossover of the archaic and the presence. Her works are developed in several stages, it is a journey and development starting from a pencil sketch, leading to a scenic storytelling momentum. The synergy of manual and digital drawing techniques creates a multi-layered communication between her artworks, which bear witness to a high emotional expressiveness. Her works represent a hybrid of art and fashion.
