About The Artwork
This drawing is part of a series about identity and the nature of femininity. It was a time in which I was developing a stronger awareness of my inner world, and the emotional and intuitive capacities of my soul. I was connecting to myself as a part of nature, and found simplicity of living and a natural environment greatly aided this exploration and important self work. It was the first series I made after moving to California, the final destination of a 6 month cross-country road trip.
