About The Artwork

Visit this link to see detail views of this large drawing: http://kimartanddesign.com/preview-Tall-Tree-Pen-Ink.htm Semperviren means 'forever living' in Latin. This drawing was done from the artist's imagination to capture an old time feel and the gigantic stature of a 2000 year old Sequoia. This rendering took many months. The artist feels Humboldt, Mendocino and Del Norte are the most beautiful areas in the Pacific Northwest. Hiking experiences in the Humboldt Redwoods State Park and Redwood National Park encouraged illustrator Kim Reid to relocate to the region of these ancient forests.
