Afternoon of an Italian Greyhound Artwork

Inspired by a lovely dog and Debussy's work, "Afternoon of a Faun." Struck by the faun-like qualities of an Italian Greyhound and always interested in ideas about art and music--somehow this all came together. I hope that viewers can take joy in the connections suggested, here, between Impressionism, the great Impressionist composers and symbolists and artists involved in this movement which so often evoked light, and a particular pet.
