About The Artwork
The time I spent in India practicing and learning yoga (am also a Yoga Alliance certified teacher). Meditation. Books I read about India like the Mahabharata and the Ramayana. The Ganges beautiful flow of life, enchanting river, surrounding by beautiful vivid villages and amazing Temples. But also the hardest time of life. Hence my reference to the monkey (Hanumanasana). A calm sense of love and happiness. The gem stones (crystals) I used for the painting / sculpture, (they do look like sculpture with the gem stone adding perspective etc), are peridot, garnet, hematite, rhodochrosite, blue hoplite and I do not use varnish nor glue but a mix that let the stone 'breathe' while holding them in place. Please note canvas is excellent quality and has rounded angles.

I was born in France and grew up between France, London and Spain (San Sebastian). My mum was an amazing artist painter and from a very young age I was sensitive to art. I create paintings with gem stones using products that leaves the gem breathe. I create a mix with no glue or varnish but instead a porous finish to let the stones breathe, this finishing protects both the painting and the stones. I create pieces that aim to empower the soul in a cocooning, peaceful and fun way. I am a certified Yoga Alliance Yoga teacher in Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow before I travelled around the world for 20 years with my previous jobs. I always wanted to paint and incorporate gem stones (crystals) in my paintings however it took me years to find the right friendly finishing.
