About The Artwork
Have you ever been at the beach on a clear night? I have been many times. Every time it was an unforgettable experience. Those memories were my inspiration. In the artwork are hidden traces of bonfires by the ocean, chases with flashlights after ghost crabs, flashes of sand full of bioluminescent creatures, and observations of the unbelievably vast sky. The sand used in the composition comes from the real place: Outer Banks, and was glued to the surface at night on my favorite beach in Avon.

Finally in 1989 she moved to United States where she found her new home, and where she spread her wings as an artist. Kasia is an active member of the Chicago art community, showing and selling her works, doing commissions, and also, organizing art events.
