As an artist, I am constantly inspired by the world around me and the way in which different forms and shapes can come together to create something truly unique and captivating. The inspiration for this piece, in particular, came from the strong and defined jawline of a human face. I wanted to capture the power and strength of this feature through the medium of ink and the movement of the liquid on the canvas. The use of dark, rich hues like burnt sienna and deep bronze in this piece evoke a sense of depth and drama, while the subtle hints of peach and flesh tones add a sense of warmth and humanity. The gestural brushstrokes and smoky effects in the background further enhance the sense of movement and fluidity in the piece.
