Cathy has been painting and illustrating since an early age and has fulfilled many private portrait commissions in Watercolours, Oils and Digital Illustrations. Having taken a break from art to bring up her three sons and work full time, Cathy returned to her love of art following the death of her eldest son Zachary in 2014. Her recent work is based on interviewing Mothers that have Lost and capturing intimate moments during the interview with a camera. Cathy then uses the photographs to produce large scale 5ft x 4 ft oil on canvas portraits.
