Inspired by the streets of Montreal, Jean-Paul Labelle's vibrant street artwork transforms a mundane pavement into a dynamic and playful space. Using bold colors and geometric shapes, he created an optical illusion that challenges the viewer's perspective. Labelle hopes his viewers feel a sense of an archived piece of society, as he only works with products from the oil industry, which he believes is the biggest marker of our era. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University in 2005 and has since established himself as an independent artist, recognized for his unique artistic skills and impressive exhibitions.
