About The Artwork
Tapestry is a form of textile traditionally art, using woven into a vertical loom (haute lisse). I was impressed by the first elements of the archaic architecture, especially the Menhir, the Dolmens and the Mycenaean gates. That’s how my favourite cycles (in tapestry, painting and graphics) Temple and Gates, appeared. Through the Gate of Clouds, we move to a new, unknown, full of mystery world. I used good quality wool yarn and it took me over 2 years to do it. The artwork is ready to hang.
