About The Artwork

You may help the powerful people, but never wait for their thankfulness there after... This fable of Jean de Lafontaine speaks of goodness, which should be free of all expectations if one does not want to be disappointed by others. This work belongs to my serie that's pay tribute to the art of first nation people (especially Salish people) and Jean de LaFontaine storyteller. I work on the globalisation of humanity wisdom and behaviours, we can find everywhere no matter where ever or when ever we lived ... or live nowadays. The Wolf and the Stork Wolves eat gluttonously. A wolf therefore being of milling, Hurried, it is said, so That he thought of losing his life. A bone remained long before his throat. Happiness for this Wolf, who could not cry, Near there passes a stork. He waves at her, she runs. Here comes the Operator. She removed the bone; then for such a good ride She asked for her salary. Jean de Lafontaine Your salary? said the Wolf: You’re laughing, my good gossip. So What! it’s not much To have your neck removed from my throat? Come on, you are ungrateful; Never fall under my paw.
