About The Artwork
A breezy summer day in the Colorado mountains inspired this work. The colors are alive, but tranquil like standing in an aspen grove and I hope a viewer feels these sensations. Upon first look, the large aspen tree on the left is hard to discern, but once it is seen, the painting makes sense. I added crumbled dried leaves and seeds to enhance the sensation of blowing breeze. Hanging hardware is attached to the canvas stretcher frame. The sides are painted black.
