Richard was born in 70s London and found an immediate connection to art: his father a mechanical engineer / designer and his mother a semi-professional photographer. Richard is fascinated with nature and the beauty of life. He studied molecular biology at University College London to PhD level. Throughout his studies he continued to draw and sketch. Richard now lives in Sydney Australia. His art takes advantage of multiple styles and influences as well as different media. ‘’An artist must use all tools available to his or her advantage to make sense of a situation and reveal a story.
