This painting is my revelation about how I feel like a woman. I was born a woman And it wasn't what I chose. It was something I had to accept. It was my destiny. It was something I had to struggle with, get to know, be friends with, and fall in love with. I remember how uncomfortable my body was to me. I didn't like my big breasts, which appeared very early and I hid them. I didn't like my hips because they were so big, they told me about my shape, they reminded me that I was a woman. I lost weight to get rid of my shapes I wore clothes that hid my shapes. I couldn't bear to be a woman. I was afraid of my emotions. I was afraid to be sensual. I was afraid to be fickle and spontaneous. I ran away from myself every day and was afraid to be myself. I thought being me was being the one who destroys. But then I found out that I can create. This painting is my revelation. I talked about how I feel like a woman. And I began to create. I gave birth to my son and realized that my forms are beautiful That my forms are such as to give life and that life is bubbling in them. They are able to hold my impulses. They can give me the pleasure of life. My forms will disappear along with my spirit In the meantime, my spirit is there and it boils, lives, strives, opens and closes, rushes out and returns to the interior of my forms. And my forms are beautiful for my spirit. Being a woman is a wonderful choice. But a choice that wasn't made by me. The choice I made.
