"visions in the clouds" - Limited Edition 1 of 1 Artwork

My art is about the soul.I am inspired to create my art to discover what lies beneath conscious awareness of my own reality. Images by an artist are captured in static physical form of what is often glimpsed only in dreams or fragments of visions into alternate realities. My art is aimed to stir the emotions that ripple outward from the soul. I strive to move the viewer to ponder what is inside of them that only they can experience, only they can feel to know. Looking into the clouds in the sky, one can imagine many possibilities, of shapes, colors, and images unique only to the viewer's perception. The perception that follows, reveals the inner world workings of the viewer themselves. I chose this medium because of it's vibrancy of color and the ability that Crayola crayon fused onto ceramic tile offers. These tiles are able to be touched. The wax in the crayon affords this option without altering the work itself. The subject matter is about the soul and has been my own inward journey reflected outwardly by the works I create. This style is uniquely my own and as such speaks volumes about my own life experience, and my own soul. This piece does not have at this time hanging hardware on it but this is easily amended. The options I have found that work well with the ceramic tile "visions in the clouds" lies upon are: the use of a saw toothed hanger mounted on the back with a very strong epoxy as a frame less approach to viewing or the more traditional use of a frame with some depth to it that secures the tile nicely.
