#Grateful Artwork - Limited Edition of 1

This piece belongs to a genre that I call, "Handwritten Found Object Art" and is part of the "Street Reflector Series," a series of original pieces of art created by writing messages on street reflectors that I've found, mainly along Alton Road in Miami Beach. This piece draws on the "Attitude of Gratitude" that I've adopted for my life, which stems from an interest in books like "The Secret" and the teachings and wisdom of people like Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, Napolean Hill, and Anthony Robbins. I have an ongoing list of things that I am grateful for in my life, that I try to add to everyday. I believe that, "The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything they have." I put the hashtag in front of the word to kind of bridge this idea of gratitude with the hashtag phenomenon, which I think helps to put a sort of modern and "techy" twist on the concept of gratitude, and hopefully helping to spread it further. The "Street Reflector Series" continues to grow as I find more street reflectors along my pedestrian travels.
