Hey World, I'm Nikito, a 34 year old artist hailing from Manchester, England. My style changes regularly but essentially its an eclectic mix of graffiti, african, street, american indian, japanese, journalistical, marvel, musical and architectural styles which I switch to depending on the mood I'm in. Usually I switch from one style to another to keep it interesting for myself as much as the people that get to see it. I don't really have any profound reasoning behind my work, although there is always some explanation behind each piece, I try not to complicaste the visuals with too much chin rubbing. My background is Landscape Architecture, recently gaining a Masters at Leeds, and so some of the line work may derive from representational techniques used in landscape/architecture. I do thrive on good design, bold colours and strong imagery and I don't really settle for a finished piece until it is how I imagined it. Many paintings therefore have lots of layers as the painting evolves and changes over time. I do hope you like some of the work you see. Thanks for stopping by.
