About The Artwork
I'm working on a series of new paintings depicting the history of the Scout motorcycles family by Indian Motocycle Manufacturing Company, Springfield, Massachusetts. First Scout was designed in 1919 and introduced to the market and professional riders in 1920. In 2020 we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Indian Scout. Let me introduce you to the next beauty in the Indian Scout family: 1928 Indian Model 101 powered Scout by Air-Cooled V-twin 45 CI (750 cc) 20 hp engine. This masterpiece of American industry was released in 1928 as "the Model 101" and produced 4 years. Replaced by Indian Standard Scout in 1932. Model 101 is known as best Indian Scout ever made.
