Painting: Gouache, Pencil, Paper on Paper.
From the artist:
The orange girl is lying on the body of the big woman.
The big woman's has a strong body, but it seems it starts to become a bit transparent.
Is she going to melt?
The water start to come to the orange girl.
To the orange girl, the big woman is a boat,
a soft but grant being who trying to protect her as much as possible.
"Let's float." She said quietly.
Material and method:
I started by using gouache and acrylic with water. It is an amazing moment when the pigment met water, it will create a movement that out of my expectation. And after that, I will use pigment or pencil to emphasize the shapes that I am looking for. At beginning of the creation, my mind is totally free with a certain state and allows the shapes come out of my brush. After the early stage, my awareness came back, I will be more rational to the images and then makes the edges of the images more clear.
