Another way of illustrating a man's Circle of Life using a rose and the times of day to track the beginning to the end. Rose Circle of Life This triptych is inspired by life & realizations made in Modjeska Canyon's Stone Castle circa 1970. The triptych artworks’ space is precisely divided into three primary elements and these elements are manifested in multiples of 3, The circle of life is represented by the transition of the rose; Panel 1.) The rose is just budding representing birth, through the window one senses dawn, Panel 2.) Here the rose is in full bloom with the daylight shining through the window and Panel 3.) The circle of life is ending as illustrated by the transition to nightfall and the falling petals.

In 2009 my 8 year old son got me back into the arts after a 30 year hiatus through drawing. My drawings BELOW (scroll down) are mathematically rooted triptychs. They explore MY thoughts on the roots of ART going back to a time we humans dwelt in caves & the artists were the seers & shaman creating MAGICAL images. Fine arts: I had 5 museum shows by my 24th birthday. (Long Beach, Laguna, Cal Arts, UC Irvine & Balboa Art Museums.) Fine Arts 10,000 connections; 5 Museum shows. I pioneered the following Minimalist Art movements in the 60's: Light as painting Sound as sculpture Magnetism as moving sculptures Non Functional Art Art that must be touched, turned on and searched to fully experience that piece of art Some recent Triptych Meanderings: http://www.pinterest.com/jamesjphawkins/art-just-some-triptych-meanderings-by-jp-hawkins/
