About The Artwork
This is a small painting with an insert: the flower. There is another available insert, another arrow to match the ones already encircling the heart. I like the idea of disparate options which subtly and fundamentally change the painting and also, potentially it's significance and impact. The arrows are defensive and protective, the flower is potentially far more welcoming, it's presence changes the painting, but maybe I am not fully prepared to allow a flower to soften the stance so I keep the arrow in reserve..? (Apologies for the poor photograph, I will upload a better one asap)
