ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A View From Above is inspired by the rolling hills of north Spain, where beauty is in the mixture between forest, field and factories. My work in general is largely inspired by contrasts; of colour, texture and form. Lately, I have been combining geometric, hand-made marks with more uncontrolled textures and patterns to explore the idea of controlled randomness. I want to inspire an appreciation of opposites. The grass is greener - but in a positive way!
