ABOUT THE ARTWORK

When sketching found an image resembling an old woman sitting on a bench.I perceived it as a spirit talking to me, because it has appeared amidst scratches without any thought at all,but mere freedom of creation.Something resembling Japanese prints. I hope the spectator will see burning flame in a face of this figure surrounded by solitude, as cold as ice.A burn through a paper opening an opening- perhaps new dimension of a warm heart, that leads to a new understanding of life surrounded by death. Abstract medium can easier brake the barrier between the way mind has used to perceive things and the way it can, when it has plunged into "unknown"- our subconscious mind which has the connection of our much greater consciousness - greater self.Dark sea represents our longings and fears, But the truth lies in our selves.- in our hearts.
